All port wing lower skin work today. I thinned the overlap join at the front corner of the two lower skins behind the fuel tank. I then deburred all rivet holes on both skins, both sides. I dimpled the inner lower skin and the inspection hatch platenut holes on both skins. I riveted the platenuts for the inspection hatches on both skins, and primed the inner skin(see pic)
I modified this skin by cutting an extra NACA duct vent. I did this because it gets pretty hot here in Texas during the summer, so one NACA duct (on the starboard wing) is for the pilot, that on the port wing is for the passenger.
