I dimpled the lower skins, and riveted the inspection hatch platenuts to them. Then Lynn and I lifted the starboard wing off of the jig. I was surprised how light it was, and we laid it down on it's top surface, on a low work surface, (the bigger wing crate). It was then I noticed I hadn't put the wing walk strengthener under the top skin before riveting.
AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!
I found the W/W strengthener under some other wing panels, when moving stuff around. So we turned the wing over and I drilled out the rivets in the four inner ribs. Oh well, I did get some practice in drilling rivets :-)
Starboard wing upside down on the wing packing crate.
The W/W strengthener, guess where this should've been?
