Brief Description:  Starboard aileron

I riveted the underside of the starboard aileron today. I use the garage floor as my flat surface. i placed a UK gallon (figure that one out :-) ) of water and 1/2 gallon of oil on the aileron to hold it flat. I riveted the counterweight to the leading edge skin working from the centre out toward the endsalternating riveting either side of the centre rivet, all the while checking to make sure the aileron stays straight. Next I riveted the leading edge nose ribs, then the rear skin end ribs, notice the trailing two rivet holes have been modifed to accept CS4-4 blind rivets as I cannot get my hand squeezer into that gap.

Finally I riveted the rear and leading edge skins to the spar, again working outward from the centre rivet, alternately riveting a rivet hole either side as I went.
