Brief Description:  Left aileron.

Well I had to get a move on because my friend izzybear, is way ahead of me and I need to catch up. So, I had a long b z day today.

Firstly, I had my order confirmation from Vans for the fuselage today, it should ship week of 9th of June.

What did I do today?

I drilled the aileron hinge/spar/rear skin end rib joint holes to full size for the retaining bolts.

I countersunk the counterbalance weight for the aileron. I then deburred all rivet holes in the spar, leading edge ribs, the leading edge skin, and the rear end ribs for the rear skin. I deburred, and edged the rear skin as well as doing the same to the stiffeners. I then dimpled the rear skin, the rear skin end ribs, and the stiffeners. The leading edge and leading edge end ribs were dimpled, except for the holes for the counterweight as the CS 4-4 pop rivets will pull the leading edge skin into the countersunk holes in the counterweight, hopefully giving a really nice finish. I riveted the leading edge end ribs to the counterweight, using CS 4-4's, by bending them slightly to get the pop rivet gun in there properly and straightening them out after riveting. I then riveted the end ribs and counterweight to the front side of the aileron spar.
