Brief Description:  Fuel tanks

Another chilly day in San Antonio. I finished riveting the end ribs to the skins of both tanks.
Tomorrow I need to start sealing the ribs to the internal surface of the skins, and also seal the worked rivet ends inside the skins as well. I had enough sealer left over to seal the rivets on one of the end ribs.

I also managed to figure out, once I read the instructions, how to set the timer on my camera. So now I don't have to bug Lynn to come and take my photo. So I can be vain all on my own now :-)

So far my plan for the 'paint' has been to use an RAF scheme, probably from 19 Sqn as they were the first to use the P-51 in the UK during WW2(as many seem to use P-51 schemes on their aircraft). My Lynn's name will go on the left side of the nose, my mums will go on the right, in remembrance as she died in October.
