Brief Description:  Wiring conduit holes in ribs

I moved the wings around on the jig, so that I could do some of the internal work. The upper skins are only there to hold the frames sqaure. I had managed to not drill the holes for the wiring conduit through both wings ribs thinking that I'd do that once they ribs were riveted in place. However, the step drill that came with my tool kit that fitted my smaller drill, that I planned to use, was too small for the conduit, so I had to buy a larger step drill. This meant I had to use my larger drill because the smaller drill chuck would not take the larger stepdrill. And the larger drill with the larger step drill would not go into the gaps between the ribs now.

So I drilled ribs 1 through 4 with a 12 inch #30, then the rest I used my smaller stepdrill to drill a 1/2 inch hole. This 1/2 inch starter hole allowed me to get my bigger drill and larger stepdrill between the ribs and enlarge the holes to the correct size. Ribs 1 through 4, I used a 3/8ths drive ratchet, 6 inch extension with socket, and drilled though by hand(hot work!). Pic two shows the end result, all holes nicely drilled and primed, pic three is with the conduit in place.
