I assembled the wing ribs to the right front spar, then when trying to attach the right rear spar found it wouldn't fit. So I went back to the plans and rechecked what I'd done wrong. Hey Presto! I was building the right wing and used the plans exactly to assemble it.
But the plans are for the left wing, so the ribs were in the wrong order! Sorted that out then had my wife come out to help me double check things again to make sure they were correct. Fine this time. She also helped me lift the frames around so they didn't get damaged.
I then assembled the left wing, got that right first time! I drilled out the rib/spar rivet holeson both assemblies.
Had a mate from Dallas visit while he was in the area. Jim, nice to see you again mate!
