Brief Description:  Drilling the F-6116 side rudder pedal brg. blocks.

I made a mistake. I did not realize that there was a particular orientation for the F-6116 bearing blocks. I missed this on the drawing because there is a slight angle of the large holes in these blocks that counteract the slight angle of the forward fuselage. I had them already drilled when I discovered this. What are the chances that I accidentally had them in the proper position when I drilled them? The odds would be 1-4 that they were ok and fifty- fifty that only one was drilled without respect to the proper orientation. Well as my luck would have it they were both wrong. Now all I have to do is just flip them over and they should be all right. This is good in theory except the holes that hold the AN3 bolts would have to be perfectly straight and not taper in any direction. When I reversed the blocks the bolts would not line up with the holes drilled in the F-719 forward skin stiffener. I could drill another set of holes in the stiffener to match the blocks. Since I was going to drill 3 sets of holed to adjust the rudder pedals in the future but I did not want any extra holes that would not be used for anything except to help weaken the structure, so I ordered new blocks from Van’s. Should be here in a couple of days.
