I drilled and riveted the F-750 aft baggage side covers inside the fuselage. I had to install some nut-plates with both blind and solid rivets. I was insightful enough to realize that I better get the rudder cables installed before these side covers go on or it would not be possible. Neither the plans nor the drawings give you this clue. Fortunately I thought about it. The rudder cables are not difficult to install but you have to push the clevis through the snap bushing since it is very tight and will not slide through the snap bushing when the bushing are already snapped into place. I also vacuum all the metal chips out of the fuselage so the plane looks nice again…it was looking pretty sloppy. The plans indicate that now is the time to install the step. I guess I better build a good sawhorse to get the plane higher off the ground.
