Brief Description: fitting and assembling of directional controls
after installation of the pedal shaft I cut the control rods 1/4" shorter as shown in the video. Installed the long control cable and routed it back to tail on temporary basis. Marked 2-7/8" travel on the push rod and checked pedal angles. BJ states that the contol cable should travel 2-7/8" while the pedal should travel 38-40 degreees. This can not be achieved. The pedal travel is less and since they are directly linlked one can only control one of these dimensions. I decided that the 2-7/8" cable travel is the primary target. I then drilled the holes for the pedal stops and installed the bolts with washers to limit the cable travel to 2-7/8"
