Today, two heavy coats of PVA release agent were applied to the area of the fuselage and tail where the fairing will be laid up. Also, two football shaped fiberglass pieces were cut on the bias to be used at the front of the vertical stabilizer to fuselage intersection if needed. Four pieces of 2” X 4” fiberglass pieces were cut on the bias for use at the inboard horizontal to fuselage intersections if needed. Four pieces of the two ounce fiberglass cloth were cut to provide two fine woven top layers for both sides.
