Gary and Coug came over and examined the project. They both agreed it would be better to replace the skin because it is too dented. Said it is salvageable if I wanted to but would require alot of body filler which would add weight. They also recommended on getting a 2x rivet gun and a rubber rimmed riveting head, They stayed and talked for quite a while. I'll order the new skin, rivet gun and head tomorrow.
