I fooled around with the upper forward fuselage by clecoing on the ribs, sub panel and instrument panel. It looks cool and wants to fly. I also made some of the angle pieces shown on drawing # 24A. I barely came up short on 6061T6 ¾ x ¾ x .063 angle to make the F-703B.. I went over to Aircraft Spruce to purchase some but they only had .125 as the thinnest material. They carry 6061T52 or 2024T3 in the thickness I need but I will have to ask Van’s if it is ok to use.
