Brief Description: Empennage Fairing and Eyeball Vents.
Still playing with the empennage fairing. I am filling the gaps with epoxy resin and fiberglass tape. In one area I tried mixing a generous scoop of micro balloons to get a thick paste, though not thick enough as I had to continually turn the fairing to keep the goo from moving around. . I also found some paint at Auto Zone that mimics blue anodize. I sprayed first with a base coat that makes the material look metallic and then after it dries; I sprayed the blue stuff. It came out pretty nice. I added white paint to the letter on the fuel selector plate to make it standout and be more readable.
