Brief Description: Verified torque on Z-bracket tank bolts.
Today I verified the torque settings for the Z-Bracket fuel tank bolts. The quickbuilders seem to have torqued the bolts on high side at 45-50 inch-pounds and in some cases a bit higher. I backed off the bolts so I could determine the drag torque. Seemed like about 10 inch-pounds of drag torque added to 25 regular tension torque for an AN3 series bolt. I set most to about 35 inch-pounds, applied torque stripe and called it a day.
