I made the fat #2 AWG wire for the positive side of the battery. When I attached the master relay end of this wire the terminal had to be bent in a severe manner which I did not like. I played around with it and decided to flip it 180 degrees, which made all the difference in the world. I also attached the always-hot battery buss wire to the battery. Some diagrams would show this terminal attaching to the master relay where the battery cable is attached. I decided that it would be more failsafe to have it attached to the battery terminal. My thinking is this. If the large battery terminal sheared off from vibration or something, you would also lose the electrical connection to the always-hot battery buss. Since I connected directly to the battery terminal, I would still have power if the battery terminal sheared off.
