Brief Description:  Vent lines

I received my ¼ inch soft aluminum tubing from Van’s yesterday so this evening I remade and I installed the fuel vent line the first go around and didn’t waste but 7-8 inches of tubing. It was a bitch trying to get the rudder pedals back in the plane since the tubing and the support bracket were installed. I tried different methods, even removing the UHMW blocks, that was not the way to go since I could not get them back in line with the drilled holes in the longerons. I finally just finagled them in to place after about an hour of fooling around. I think I will start plumbing for the brake lines next. I was visiting the web site for the Eggenfellner Subaru engine the other day. That thing is pretty tempting. Saves weight, money, time, fuel, vibration, and is simple to operate. I think I will do more research about this power plant.
