Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. This is a registered E/AB airplane. I am the second owner and performing upgrades and a refresh to this aircraft. Kit was purchased in the late 90s and completed in 2005. I purchased the aircraft from the builder, Bob Devine, out of French Valley Airport in Temecula, CA in May 2022. He did not have an online build log, rather paperwork and photos. Bob received his airworthiness certification in 2005. Last flights were in approximately 2015/16 and he was undergoing an engine swap from Subaru to O200A. The aircraft had only ~40+ hrs. and sat in Bob's hangar for years after he lost his medical. No rust was found during my prebuy. I purchased it without the Continental O200A and installed a zero time Corvair 120 HP Spyder engine that I purchased in CalNavAri, NV and had inspected and upgraded at Azalea Aviation in GA. In April 2023, I decided to move to a Viking 110 HP engine from Texas and removed the Corvair. I am currently making upgrades to the avionics, electrical, FWF, fuel tanks, adding safety items and new seats plus engine and prop and seek another inspection by an A&P DAR plus. I will then perform another 40 or hopefully 20 hr flyoff. Paint is secondary and maybe down the road.
